📢 Patient Notice: Insurance Network Update

Dear Patients,

We want to inform you of an upcoming change in our insurance network status.

Effective September 10, 2025, Modern Movement Chiropractic will no longer be accepting patients through American Specialty Health (ASH) networks, which includes plans such as Kaiser Permanente, Blue Shield of California, and other insurers that contract with ASH.

We’ve made this decision to better serve our patients with high-quality care that’s not limited by restrictive insurance policies or bundled reimbursements.

🙋‍♂️ What This Means for You:

  • If your insurance is managed through ASH, services at our office will be out-of-network starting September 10th.

  • You are still welcome to continue care with us under flexible options:

    • Cash rates

    • Prepaid packages

    • HSA/FSA payment accepted

    • Superbills available to submit for out-of-network reimbursement

💡 Why We’re Making This Change:

ASH’s policies often limit the type, frequency, and reimbursement of care we can provide — making it harder to deliver the personalized, effective treatment you deserve. By stepping out of this network, we can focus fully on clinical outcomes, not quotas or red tape.

Does my insurance cover chiropractic?

Visit the Insurance tab on our website to learn more about insurance. You may also visit the CONTACT tab and provide your "FULL NAME", "DATE OF BIRTH" and "MEMBER ID#" for us to verify your eligibility.

How much does it cost?

Visit the Out of Pocket tab on our website to learn about cost. If you are using Insurance, the price varies depending on the Insurance Carrier AND specific plan that your are on. You will need to visit the CONTACT tab to provide us with the information we need to check.

What types of services are included?

If you are using your insurance, in most cases, only the exam and spinal adjustment are covered. If you would like access to our therapies, including: Shockwave Therapy, NormaTec Compression Therapy, Soft Tissue Manipulation and Functional Movement Assessment, it would be an additional charge. (These services are included to those paying out of pocket or to our memebrs).
