Welcome to Modern Movement Chiropractic
At our clinic, we do things differently. You won’t find sales pitches for 24-visit care plans or long-term contracts here. Instead, the focus is on honest, individualized care that targets the root cause of your pain—so you can feel better, move better, and stay better.
While most people don’t get completely better in just one visit, my goal isn’t to keep you coming back forever. Each session is designed to make meaningful progress and give you the tools, exercises, and strategies you can continue using at home.
Because treatments are comprehensive and tailored to your specific movement needs, my pricing may be slightly higher than some offices. But you receive focused, one-on-one care, detailed movement assessment, hands-on treatment, and a clear plan to improve—not a cookie-cutter routine.
I’m confident that together we can improve the way you move, address the root issues, and help you get back to doing what you love.
How we got Started
Dr. Daniel Cagape was born and raised in San Jose. After working for another office in South San Jose, he decided it was time to open up his own office. After finding the perfect spot in Milpitas, CA, he immediately got to work on creating a vibrant and modern office. A space for movement and exercise was mandatory, while also having space for private consultation and adjusting rooms.
Why we care
Our clinic cares deeply because we firmly believe that every individual's well-being matters, and that every person's condition is different. We are committed to listening to your whole story and providing exceptional care and guidance toward a higher quality of life.

From everyday professionals to active individuals and athletes, we’re here to help the Milpitas community and surrounding South Bay residents move and feel better — naturally.
Frequently Asked Questions
At our clinic, some of our most common concerns include back pain, shoulder pain, neck stiffness, especially as a result of postural issues, repetitive movement, injuries or muscular imbalances. Chiropractors can also help with joint restrictions, movement dysfunction, and soft-tissue complaints.
If you’re experiencing any of the following, you may benefit from chiropractic care:
- Ongoing back pain or shoulder pain that hasn’t resolved with rest or basic treatment
- Stiffness, limited range of motion or “tight” feeling in your body
- Recurrent muscle or soft-tissue issues (perhaps requiring therapies like cupping or soft-tissue therapy)
- Poor posture, movement limitations, or you’re training/working hard and want to prevent breakdown
- You’ve been told you might need more than just pain relief (i.e., you want corrective work)
Feel free to schedule a visit — we’ll conduct an assessment to determine whether chiropractic care is the right path for you.
Cupping and soft-tissue therapy target muscle and fascial restrictions, release tightness, and improve mobility. These therapies often complement chiropractic adjustments by freeing up soft tissues so joints can move more freely and heal more effectively.
Shockwave therapy is an advanced modality used to accelerate healing in chronic tendon, muscle or joint issues that haven’t responded to traditional treatments. It’s one of the tools we use at the clinic when we identify deeper structural challenges — often after the initial relief phase when we move into corrective care.
