This Program Is Likely a Fit If…

You:

  • Sit at a desk most of the day and feel like your body is slowly “tightening up”
  • Notice stiffness or discomfort that shows up even when you’re not injured
  • Have tried chiropractic care, massage, or stretching — and felt better temporarily
  • Keep wondering why the same issues keep coming back
  • Want to understand what’s actually driving the problem, not just quiet the symptoms

This is probably NOT for you if:

  • Just want a quick adjustment and to move on
  • Prefer insurance-based, per-visit care
  • Aren’t ready to commit to a short, structured plan

FAQ – Addressing Common Questions

  • Is chiropractic care safe? Yes, chiropractic care is one of the safest, non-invasive, drug-free options for treating musculoskeletal issues. Adjustments are remarkably safe when performed by a licensed chiropractor—far safer than common pain medications or surgery. Minor soreness can occur (like after a workout), but serious risks are extremely rare.
  • What conditions do chiropractors treat? We commonly treat back pain, neck pain, headaches, sciatica, joint issues, and extremity problems (like shoulders, knees, or wrists). Chiropractic also helps with overall wellness, posture, sports injuries, and even some non-musculoskeletal complaints by improving nervous system function.
  • Does a chiropractic adjustment hurt? Most patients feel little to no pain during an adjustment—often immediate relief instead. You might hear a "pop" (like cracking your knuckles), but it's painless. If you're tense or have acute pain, we can use gentler techniques to keep you comfortable.
  • How many visits will I need? It varies by your condition, age, and goals. Acute issues might improve in a few visits; chronic problems could take longer (e.g., 6–12 sessions initially, then maintenance). We'll create a personalized plan and reassess progress regularly—no "one-size-fits-all" here.
  • Do I need a referral from my medical doctor? No referral is required in most cases—you can schedule directly with us. Some insurance plans might have specific rules, so check your coverage or call us; we'll help verify.
  • How is this different from The Joint? The Joint clinics will push you in and out as quickly as possible. Here, we offer in-depth, personalized care focused on performance. Longer appointments, science-backed plans for real movement freedom.
  • Why don't you take Health Insurance? Over the past five years, I participated in nearly every health insurance network available. What I discovered is that most plans only reimburse for the most basic chiropractic services—often just a quick adjustment—while denying coverage for more comprehensive care.
To deliver the best possible results for my patients, I focus on personalized, in-depth treatment that goes far beyond the basics. This includes thorough postural assessments, biomechanics and physical performance testing, advanced myofascial release techniques, and tailored corrective strategies. This approach is what truly sets us apart from high-volume, minimal-care models like The Joint Chiropractic.
By moving to a cash-based practice, I can provide the full scope of care you need without insurance restrictions dictating your treatment plan. This ensures you receive the highest-quality, evidence-based care designed specifically for your goals—whether that's reducing pain, improving movement, or enhancing athletic performance.
  • What should I expect on my first visit? We'll review your health history, perform a thorough exam (possibly including posture analysis or X-rays if needed), discuss findings, and often provide your first adjustment if appropriate. Plan for 45–60 minutes; wear comfortable clothes.
  • Once I start chiropractic care, do I have to keep going forever? No—you don't "have to" continue forever. Like dentistry or exercise, some patients choose ongoing maintenance for better health and prevention. Others stop once symptoms resolve. It's your choice; we focus on getting you better as efficiently as possible.
  • Are chiropractors real doctors? Yes—Doctors of Chiropractic (DCs) complete 4+ years of rigorous doctoral training (similar hours to MDs), including anatomy, physiology, diagnosis, and hands-on adjusting, plus national boards and licensing. We're primary healthcare providers focused on natural, spine-centered care.
