Is $90 actually a good deal? What does a chiro exam normally cost?
Our standard New Patient Exam is $180. The $90 rate is a new patient offer designed to remove the barrier of trying a new practice. A comprehensive chiro exam in the Bay Area typically runs $150–$300+, often not covered by insurance. At $90 you're getting a full clinical workup — health history, orthopedic exam, movement assessment, and same-day care plan. Nothing is cut to justify the price.
Will I be pressured into a long treatment plan?
No. You'll receive a care plan recommendation on the same day — but it's a recommendation, not a hard sell. Some patients need 4 visits. Some need 12. Dr. Cagape will tell you what he genuinely recommends based on what he finds, and you decide what makes sense. No pressure, no lock-in.
Is Dr. Cagape actually qualified?
Dr. Daniel Cagape holds a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree, licensed since 2020, and is a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT). He bridges clinical diagnosis with strength and movement rehabilitation — a combination rare in chiropractic. Modern Movement is a cash-pay practice — we don't bill insurance at all. The price you see is the price you pay. Follow-up visits are $60 (10 min) or $85 (30 min), with visit packages available at a discount. No surprise bills, no claim denials. Many patients without insurance prefer this model because costs are transparent and predictable from day one.
