Hi, I’m Dr. Daniel Cagape—born and raised right here in San Jose, CA. I discovered my passion for health and human performance while attending Independence High School, where Anatomy and Physiology first sparked my interest. That interest eventually led me to earn my degree from UC Irvine and later graduate from Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward.
I’ve always been active—whether it’s lifting weights, playing sports, hiking outdoors, or simply staying on the move. My own experience with sports injuries is what led me to chiropractic care. I was frustrated with the traditional approach of surgery and medication, and I wanted to find a way to heal and stay healthy through more natural, preventative methods. That’s when I found chiropractic—and it changed my life.
From 2020 to 2022, I had the opportunity to work at Almaden Chiropractic and Wellness in South San Jose alongside Dr. Carl Dieter, Dr. Phillip Dieter, and Dr. Charles Decker, who brought over 100 years of combined experience to the table. That time deeply shaped my approach and commitment to helping others.
Today, I combine hands-on chiropractic care with movement-based rehab and 1-on-1 coaching to help you recover, move better, and stay injury-free. Whether you’re dealing with pain, trying to stay active as you age, or looking to improve your performance in the gym or on the field—I’m here to support you.
I don’t believe in cookie-cutter care. Every patient is different, and that’s why every plan I create is personalized to fit your goals. My mission is simple: help you live a stronger, healthier life doing what you love—without pain holding you back.
When I’m not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my partner, Becca, and our dog, Milo. You’ll usually find us exploring the outdoors, lifting at the gym, or grabbing something to eat around the Bay.
If you’re ready to take control of your health and movement, I’d love to help you get started.
